The top three Scouts from each rank have been invited to the 2012 Union District Pinewood Derby Races on April 21st.  The flyer from Council is attached in the Pack library.  Tigers - Web 1's are invited....  we want to be sure that Pack 151 is fully represented, so below are the top 5 per rank which includes alternates in case the top 3 can't go.  Please let your Den leaders know if you will be able to attend, or not.

2012 Blue and Gold banquet information has been posted to the Pack library; click on the 'map' link in the calendar for directions (Shiloh Elementary School, 5210 Rogers Rd Monroe).

Wolf Den leader Tim Teague will be going to Haiti with his church group to assist a local school and medical clinic, and is seeking donations of the following items to give away during his trip:

New or used basket balls, volley balls, or soccer balls (preferably deflated, but I will deflate them myself if needed)

Gently used Kids sports equipment (shin guards, cleats, athletic shorts, etc.)

Sports Water-bottles

Tylenol (store brand ok)

It was an epic day at the Pinewood Derby !!!  We had a great turnout, there were some awesome cars and some fast times, and most important everyone had a blast.  Check back soon for pics and full results which will be uploaded by Monday night.

Scout Sunday is February 12th - Scouts should arrive at FUMC at 8:45am for the early service and are asked to stay through the 11:15am service. 
If you cannot make the early service, plan to arrive at 11:00am for the 11:15 service.

Scouts should be in full Class A uniform without their hats. 

Please send any good pictures of scouting activities to Todd Lyons at the pack email.  They will be used in a slide show during the church services.

This is the time to thank the church for supporting all our scouting activities.  Please make every effort to be there for this important event.

Due to the high volume of participants start time for the Pinewood Derby has been changed to 9:30am on Saturday Jan 28th.  We expect to finish up by 2:00p.

Concessions will be available for purchase.  We need volunteers from each den to assist with concessions.  The volunteers will not be on duty while their son's den is racing.  Please stop by the parent table on Monday to sign up.

Don't forget to use the scale that we have available at the front of the church - it is the official scale for the derby.  Food scales can be off significantly from the official scale.  All cars should be weighed in advance of turn-in day to avoid any last second "modifications".

Any car that is turned after the Friday Jan 27th 8:00p deadline will be charged a late fee to race.

Remember Pinewood Derby is a full uniform event for all Scouts and Leaders.

Individual registration is on the Council Website ( http://centralnccouncilbsa.com/ ).  You will need to create a user ID if you have not already done so.  Our pack goes on 1/22, but there is an option to go on February
